Juilliard Students Find Meaning and Purpose in Summer Grant Projects

Residents of Botswana, Tanzania, Florida, and Detroit were the beneficiaries of Juilliard outreach in 2010 as Juilliard Summer Grant recipients fanned out around the globe. In Project Maru-a-Pula, seven Juilliard students helped children put on a performance. In Kissimmee, Fla., and Detroit children took part in arts intensives. And Juilliard students also returned to Arusha, Tanzania, to work in an orphanage.
