In each month’s Missing in Caption feature, we print a mystery photo from our Archives, and we hope our readers will help us identify it. This month’s shows a rather diverse 1946 Summer School trumpet class. We know that the teacher was longtime Juilliard faculty member Edward Treutel, who was in the Juilliard trumpet Diploma program until 1938, and that he taught at the School from 1937 until his death, in 1997.
