Summer Grant Projects Take the Arts Around the World

This year’s summer-grant projects took Juilliard students around the globe to teach others—and learn a great deal in the process. Most of the projects involved teaching arts to underprivileged children—in South Africa, Guatemala, and Tanzania. There was also to raise money through a concert for a food bank in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia.
